Case Study

World Wide Hearing
Launched: May 2011

The Brief

World Wide Hearing (WWH) is a charitable organization that seeks to enable better hearing worldwide through the provision of affordable hearing aids and services.

The organization wanted to replace its old brand mark with a new design that captured its spirit and would provide a starting point for a new website and branding.

The Paper Tiger Plan

As WWH provides aid across the world, Paper Tiger felt the new brand mark had to cross cultural divides and be understood on a global level. The organization provides services comparable to doctors, so we felt a clean and modern medical look would be appropriate and comprehensible.

The circular form universally represents the unity, nurturing and wholeness the WWH services provide. The expanding arcs are an instantly recognizable symbol for sound, but also have a more contemporary meaning: being connected, which is the ultimate goal of the organization’s good work.

The new logo is being adapted for use in the company stationery and business cards, as designed by Paper Tiger. Our designs are clean and modern, yet maintain a sense of officialdom as well as translating across cultural barriers.

Our new website allows WWH to introduce multimedia and social networking to the site and promotes the organization’s new donation facilities. We are also building a members section that will provide exclusive content and tools to the group’s members and partners.
