The fashion world is pretty volatile, cut-throat and over-saturated. But SGC N-Y-C paints a whole new picture of what fashion is all about with quality, simplicity and humility. We like to think we did their brand and clothing justice with the launch of their new site: sgcny.com.
We here at Paper Tiger are proud to announce the birth of our new little application creation: TweetMakr. The idea is very simple: Give users a very simple way to generate custom “tweet” buttons without having to know code or the Twitter API. TweetMakr lets your users tweet a message with exactly what you want them to say!
Built from the ground up with our bare hands. Paper Tiger tackled the new Alternative Press website with goal in mind: make it extremely awesome.
When it comes down to the guts of this site, it has everything: a fully customized CMS, ‘APTV’ branded video players (that totally work on the iPad), artist profiles, tons of community interaction, e-commerce development & integration, jQuery functionality, you name it. Seriously. Every little detail has been picked apart, turned upside down and then picked apart again until it worked exactly the way it should and we couldn’t be happier with the result.
Air & Sea Battle, a highly regarded music & media blog, was built by Paper Tiger on the Wordpress CMS framework. The WP template itself is from-scratch custom and every detail has been tweaked, edited, or custom coded.
Once the site was launched, the staff at Paper Tiger were invited to be contributing members to the blog, primarily because of our music & media background, but also because we share the same values as the site itself.
Children’s Day NYC was a very exciting project for us as it took us out of our comfort zone and forced us to think like a kid again.
Developed on the powerful ExpressionEngine platform, CDNYC is fully CMS driven, mobile friendly and an event you should take your kids to if you are anywhere near the NYC area on June 26th. The Apples In Stereo are playing! It doesn’t get any better than that. I want to go just so I can hang out with Gordon from Sesame Street’s mustache.
The mission of World Wide Hearing is to promote better hearing through the provision of hearing aids and services, with priority in developing countries and underserved communities within the framework of the WHO (World Health Organization) Guidelines on Hearing Aids and Services for Developing Countries. In other words… hearing loss is a huge problem throughout the world and these people are doing something about it.
Our mission was to re-brand them and make them look really, really good.
The Seaport Music Festival, sponsored by The NYC Seaport and the River To River Festival, is one of the most badass music events of the year. Taking place as a FREE show every weekend on the NYC South Street Seaport, the list of the performers is just outright amazing (Yacht, The Wedding Present, The Apples In Stereo, Free Energy).
We were more than happy to jump at the opportunity of giving Seaport Music & Seaport Music Records a brand new, CMS driven website that can be expanded for years to come.
Fulton Stall Market, the only outdoor food market serving lower Manhattan’s historic Seaport District is in its second year The 2010 market features a hand-picked collection of locally produced seasonal fruits and vegetables, handmade cheeses, organic breads, cut flowers and potted plants, area roasted coffee, and New York state wines.

Lala Land Vintage Clothing prides themselves in understanding the vintage customer from the Teddy Boy who only wears flannel and starch Levis to the hip designer girl who wants to show a little bit of her personality in her everyday wardrobe. They think everyone needs some vintage in their lives and we have created this website to help them supply it.

The Boogie Lounge Recording Lab is a brand new sound recording facility based out of Winter Park, Florida.
Elegant yet simple.
It’s always exciting working on a project for something you will eventually use yourself! Self-Titled Magazine is one of those project. Covering some of the best music today, S/T is a leading site in the indie music scene.
The Self-Titled site is built off of a custom Wordpress CMS design framework, incorporating all social media elements (Twitter, Facebook) as well as the company’s free PDF magazine.
Social blog and online magazine BroBible.com, was growing. Fast. Looking to move out of their custom PHP based content management system, we designed a new interface for the site itself, and also mapped out the new Brobible.com in the very popular and extensible Drupal CMS.
User blogs, a music section and online store, Brobible.com has a little bit of everything.
We The Kings had a new record coming out and needed absolutely everything designed from top to bottom. Paper Tiger provided it all.
Album layout, single artwork, MySpace design & customization, tour and retail poster artwork, stickers, tent artwork for Warped Tour, custom guitar cabinet face designs, photo retouching, promotional flyers, one-sheets, newsletter templates and much, much more.
Since the 90s, Paper Brigade has been a tireless advocate and supporter of independent music and art. After initially getting its foothold in the indie music community in Kansas with vinyl releases by bands like The Anniversary, Reflector and Proudentall, the label began evolving and addressing the ever-shrinking gap between the art and music communities.
In 2009, Paper Brigade started back up with the goal to release music that they thought was special, made by friends and the like and in 2010 they needed a fresh new website built off of the Wordpress CMS.
Post-hardcore legends THURSDAY approached us for a new site. “Simple, simple and awesome.” is what they wanted and that is what we delivered.
Built off of the powerful Wordpress CMS platform, the site features full Twitter integration, synchronization with their online store, mailing-list integration and a feature-rich blog.

Mirror Mirror, an incredibly classy makeup boutique in Westwood NJ, had just revamped their store and needed full-size menus for their customers.
Rubik is pretty much one of the most talented bands on the planet. I know, I know, that’s a very bold statement but I wouldn’t type it if I wasn’t completely convinced of it.
Rubik needed a new MySpace design to correspond with their latest release, Dada Bandits (out now on Paper Tiger AV and Fullsteam Records worldwide) and we jumped all over the opportunity.
We had the pleasure of designing all of the elements for the new E For Explosion album, Reinventing The Heartbeat. This was a high-profile release for their label, Eyeball Records, so we had our work cut out for us.
Designs and assets included: album packaging, posters, web banners, merch design, photography, MySpace customization, online marketing and more.
Little Paper Planes is an amazing resource for unique art prints & collections that you would be hard pressed to find anywhere else on the internet. In spring of 2007, the Little Paper Planes blog was created where various artists, exhibitions and art related events are featured and discussed keeping up with the dialogue of the contemporary art world.
In 2010 Paper Tiger came on board to help redesign the LPP blog to help the company unveil their new brand as well as move their old blog over to the Wordpress CMS platform.
